DualShot does not collect, store or share personal information about you. There is no account to create, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking of any kind.
Your photos and videos stay on your device
Every shot DualShot takes is written to the app's own storage on your iPhone. Nothing is uploaded. We operate no servers that hold your images and have no way to see them.
A shot leaves the app only when you choose to send it — saving it to Photos, or sharing it through the share sheet. Where it goes after that is between you and the app you sent it to.
Camera and microphone
Both cameras are used only while you are framing or taking a shot. The microphone is used only while recording a video, and only to record the sound that ends up in that video. There is no capture in the background.
Photo library
DualShot asks only for permission to add photos and videos to your library. It cannot read the photos already there.
Your daily counter
The free plan allows a set number of shots per day. That count is stored in your device's keychain and stays on the device. Please note that the keychain outlives the app: deleting and reinstalling DualShot does not reset the count.
Purchases
DualShot offers auto-renewable subscriptions. Payment is handled by Apple through the App Store; we never see or receive your payment details.
To recognise a subscription across your devices and restore it when you reinstall, the app uses RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier generated on your device, along with your purchase history and basic technical information such as device model, operating system version and country. This identifier is not linked to your name, email address or Apple ID, and nothing you have photographed is ever sent with it.

What the app does not access
- No location, and no location data is written into your shots
- No contacts, calendar or health data
- No reading of your existing photo library
- No advertising identifier
Children
DualShot is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them. Because the app collects no personal information at all, this holds for every user.
Deleting your data
Deleting a shot in the app removes it from the device. Deleting the app removes every shot it holds. To have purchase records removed from RevenueCat, write to the address below and we will pass the request on.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
