By downloading or using DualShot, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
What the app does
DualShot photographs and films with the front and back cameras at the same time and combines the two frames into a single photo or video, which you can lay out as a picture-in-picture inset or a split.
Simultaneous use of both cameras is a hardware feature. It requires a recent iPhone; on a device that does not support it, the app will say so rather than pretend otherwise.
Your content is yours
Everything you photograph or record with DualShot belongs to you. We claim no rights over it, and it never reaches us.
You are responsible for what you capture: for having the right to film the people and places in frame, and for complying with the law where you are, including rules on recording others and on sound recording.
Free plan and subscription
DualShot can be used without paying. The free plan limits the number of shots per day, adds a small watermark to the result, keeps the output at a lower resolution, restricts video length, and offers only the picture-in-picture layout.
DualShot Pro removes all of those limits. It is offered as an auto-renewable subscription in two lengths:
- Monthly — renews every month
- Yearly — renews every year
The price for your region is shown inside the app before you confirm, and again by Apple at the point of purchase.
How the subscription renews
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before that period ends.
You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device, or from the subscription screen inside the app. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period already paid for.
Refunds are requested through Apple, not through us, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
You can restore an existing subscription on a new device from the subscription screen inside the app.
What happens to your shots
Shots you have already taken remain on your device, and remain yours, whether or not you subscribe. A watermark applied under the free plan stays on shots taken while that plan was in effect; subscribing removes it from new shots, not from old ones.
Deleting the app deletes the shots it holds. There is no copy anywhere else, so export anything you want to keep before you delete it.
Licence
You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer or redistribute it.
The app is provided "as is"
DualShot is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost recordings or for damage arising from use of the app.
Changes
These terms may be updated. The current version is always the one published on this page.
